Oct 9, 2025 Today, the markets opened on a bearish note as SPY moved lower, showing signs of a potential M pattern with weakening strength. QQQ also drifted downward but has yet to confirm an M pattern, while small caps like TNA and IWM formed lower highs. Across the board, we noticed several M patterns forming, indicating that a pending correction is still in queue. AAPL moved back toward its banana line after staying sideways above it, and GDX mirrored this behavior with a clear M pattern retracing toward its real value.
We closed our previous swing buy on CLS for a small gain, while the greed index SVXY moved sideways, suggesting a potential move after accumulation. SH, the inverse fund of SPY, formed a W pattern and could pop toward its banana line soon, with tiny TLRY standing out as one of the strongest stocks today with solid volume. Overall, the market showed weaker sentiment compared to yesterday’s session.
