Oct 15, 2025 Today, the markets opened with a clear upside gap as SPY moved higher at the open but soon retraced downward after facing resistance at the daily chart pink line. QQQ has yet to form an M pattern, while small caps like TNA and IWM performed strongly, creating fresh highs though volume didn’t fully confirm the strength of the rally. Gold miners also rallied impressively, making new highs and leading the day’s strength.
Our Weekly Swing trade Target was hit on Palladyne AI Corp ($PDYN) at $10.50, securing a 42.5% gain, along with a solid bounce trade on STX bought at open. Bonds (TLT) made a higher high, and while the overall day leaned slightly weaker, gold miners stood out as the strongest sector.
