Jan 16, 2026 Today, markets opened on a weaker note as SPY retraced to the downside after testing previous highs, keeping a potential M pattern in play. Small caps via IWM showed relative strength compared to large caps like QQQ, while silver and gold appeared somewhat exhausted.
Overall, the week remained positive and leaned bullish, supported by solid performance across our swing positions and TPOW. We also booked a strong 5.9% gain in our TPOW yesterday, and the day ultimately ended on a slightly mixed note with muted movement.
