Dec 23, 2025 Today we saw the markets open on a bullish note, with SPY climbing higher towards last week’s high and maintaining a steady upside bias early in the session. Meanwhile, TLT bonds remained weak but are shaping a potential W pattern on the 60-minute chart. The Fear Index VIX continued to dip below the Banana Line, as Retail investors are panic Buying Call options (Bearish).
Volume is low from the Holidays, and we are cautious about initiating fresh buys, as herd participation is at a premium and prices can have unfavorable reward/risk. Overall, markets were smoother today and appear to be approaching key all-time high resistance levels, where squeezes and volatility often increase.
