Jan 2, 2026 Today the markets opened on a mixed note, with SPY moving lower at the open, breaking below the pink line and showing signs of weakness as it drifted toward the red 50-day average. The index eventually settled into the daily green zone, which is typically where better swing-buy opportunities emerge.
Meanwhile, MAG 7 stocks and Small Caps IWM remained near the red line. Near the close, prices retraced lower, showing a clearer directional bias, and we booked our TPOW on INTC for a solid 3.97% gain, with the session ending on the weaker side.
