April 28, 2025. Markets opened today with weak strength, and SPY struggled to gain any solid upside momentum. Inverse funds and the Fear Index VXX stayed strong in the daily green zone with high SCTR rankings, signaling a swing buy setup soon and warning against new buys in SPY or market leaders. SPY also retraced back into the “banana line” and maybe looks ready to head lower after completing an ABC corrective wave. This week, we positioned ourselves in TPOW and IAG, anticipating a fresh leg up in gold and gold miners.
