This week’s Top Pick of the Week (TPOW) highlights a powerful example of why disciplined rules, strong SCTR rankings, and awareness of market conditions remain essential to our strategy. We originally opened the ONDS trade on November 3, but due to heightened market volatility and the stock’s continued technical strength — including a still-impressive SCTR rating above 90 — we held the position for an additional week rather than taking a premature exit. That decision tested our patience early, as ONDS swung sharply and traded as low as –19% during the holding period. Volatility was elevated across the market, and growth names saw particularly wide intraday moves as investors digested shifting expectations around interest rates, geopolitical uncertainty, and corporate earnings.
The story changed quickly following ONDS’s earnings release. The stock rallied strongly mid-week, recovering the entire drawdown and pushing into positive territory. Under our conservative TPOW exit cap, the position closed with a +4% gain, demonstrating once again that maintaining discipline — especially during periods of temporary weakness — can reward patient traders. Some of our more aggressive members, who continued holding beyond the conservative level, saw ONDS surge approximately +19%, ultimately settling at a +14.4% gain by Friday’s close. While the TPOW system follows predefined exit rules for consistency and long-term risk management, it is always encouraging to see strong underlying momentum confirm the strength we identified on entry.
Broadly, the overall market continued to chop sideways with elevated price swings. The SPY spent much of the week under pressure as Treasury yields wobbled and sector rotations accelerated. Despite several sharp intraday moves, SPY finished the week with only modest losses, reflecting the ongoing tug-of-war between optimism around 2026 growth expectations and caution toward slowing consumer trends. The volatility we witnessed reinforces why the TPOW methodology remains focused on technical leadership — strongest SCTR names, breakouts above the Green Line, and high-volume confirmation — rather than predicting macro direction. In markets like this, strength continues to rotate rapidly, and following the strongest names remains a reliable pathway to consistent opportunity.
As always, thank you to all our members for following along each week. The TPOW system is built on rules, discipline, and the understanding that even strong stocks will often test us before delivering their upside potential. ONDS gave us exactly that — a reminder that the best trades often require conviction and the ability to stay focused on the technical evidence, not the noise. We look forward to another strong week ahead.
