Sep 21, 2026 Today the Markets Gapped Up with strong bullish momentum as Tech Stocks surged from being over-sold. The S and P 500 Index could be setting up for a retest of the recent highs. Small caps through $IWM continued to lag, however, showing limited strength and failing to participate fully in the broader move. We also saw strong pops across previously quiet stocks and funds, with the MAGS 7 pushing toward fresh highs on relatively low volume, while semiconductor fund $SMH surged nearly 4%, highlighting a sharp shift in momentum. We continued to hold $XBI as our TPOW from the previous week
This rally was from late short positions done last week when the FED Raised Rates, and are being squeezed as the market pushed higher and the Shorts gets flushed out. Meanwhile, $USO moved lower below the daily Pink Line and entered a correction while remaining within the daily Green Zone, with a strong SCTR suggesting a potentially interesting Swing-Buy setup ahead. We sold $MU at our target for a solid 7.4% gain, while the day ended with no new swing buys taken.
