Mar 19, 2026 Today, markets opened on a clearly weaker side as the large-cap SPY continued its pullback and formed lower lows, while the inverse fund SH pushed higher to make a higher high. The SPY daily chart now appears to be approaching the green line, which represents the fair value zone.
Gold (IAU) and silver (SLV) dropped sharply, reflecting a fear-driven sell-off and weak sentiment across commodities. We view this fear as a potential opportunity to accumulate at better prices. the day ended with a swing buy on Applied Optoelectronics ($AAOI) for a bounce.
