6/6/2021 Markets were up slightly again this week as the Stock Indices are trying to exceed the previous Highs. Many are concerned about Inflation and normally we can look to the Bond Market for the answer. Bonds are Below the Green Line which indicates Inflation Fears, and normally if Inflation gets bad, Bonds will normally tank until Inflation is dealt with. But with the FED still Buying $80 Billion of Gov’t. Debt monthly to prop up Bonds, we can’t get an accurate reading of Inflation.
Many Investors don’t have the patience to WAIT for the Stock Markets to pull-back, but they will. This has made it harder to make money this quarter, and the Market Volume is lower because Smart Money is not Buying much up at these levels. However, there are several Long Term Investments below that have already corrected 30 % (down near the Green Lines) and should pop back up again. The Green Line System mainly follows these Momentum Stocks, so trading should improve when these normally bounce back up.
For the week the Dow was up 0.65%, the S&P 500 was up 0.61%, and the Nasdaq 100 was up 0.50%. The Long Term Trend for the Indices is up.
The Inflation Index (CRB) was up 2.23% for the week (a New High) and is Above the Green Line, indicating Economic Expansion.
Bonds were up 1.20% for the week, but are Below the Green Line, indicating Economic Expansion.
The US DOLLAR was up 0.16% for the week.
Crude Oil was up 4.98% for the week at $69.62 (a New High) and GOLD was down 0.70% at $1892.00.
