Jan 21, 2026 Today, markets opened on a mixed note as SPY attempted an upside pop after yesterday’s sell-off pressure and moved toward the Bananas line. TLT bonds showed mild strength while still trading below the Banana Line, reflecting a continued fear-based pricing environment.
Small caps via IWM pushed higher and are shaping a potential bananas formation on the 60-minute chart. The session closed constructively with Swing Trade buys taken in JMIA, NUVB, and ONDS.
