Jan 9, 2026 Today, markets opened on a positive note as SPY moved higher at the start of the session, shaping up for a potential M pattern, while inverse funds like SH dipped again, forming a possible W pattern. GDX continued its strength by making fresh higher highs, and this week overall started with smooth bullish momentum across markets despite some intraday pullbacks.
