5/9/2021 Markets were mostly higher for the week as the S&P 500 and DOW 30 Indices made Higher Highs. Big Techs were mostly lower and Buying Volume was not good. The Markets are very extended (+85 % in the last year) and the Relative Strength on the major Indices is dropping. That usually indicates that Smart Money is rotating their Money to areas where the HERD is not in.
The Commodity Fund (DBC) above is trying to Break Out and begin a Stage 2 Bull Market. The HERD bought this Commodity Fund near $44 in 2008, and many got flushed out near the Virus Low in 2020 below $12. This Fund is still down 57 % from the all time Highs, and could Double or Triple if the FED continues their massive Printing. We will try to Buy DBC on the next Daily Money Wave Buy Signal.
There are several Long Term Investments below that have already corrected 30 % (down near the Green Lines) and should pop back up again. It has become harder to make much Money lately on Swing Trading. Usually a broad Market that does not bounce up from Good News is tired. A pull back to the Red Line (50-day average) on the Indices should set up for better trading soon.

For the week the Dow was up 2.67%, the S&P 500 was up 1.16%, and the Nasdaq 100 was down 1.02%. The Long Term Trend for the Indices is up.
The Inflation Index (CRB) was up 3.61% for the week (a New High) and is Above the Green Line, indicating Economic Expansion.
Bonds were up 0.57% for the week, and are Below the Green Line, indicating Economic Expansion.
The US DOLLAR was down 1.15% for the week.
Crude Oil was up 2.08% for the week at $64.90 and GOLD was up 3.60% at $1831.30.
