Sep 8, 2025 Today the markets opened with a gap up, but as the session progressed the SPY retraced lower, showing weakness. The Utilities sector declined ($XLU), while bonds displayed solid strength, suggesting inflows shifting toward safety.
Other asset classes pushed higher with somewhat exaggerated moves, and we exited our swing buy in HOOD after a nice Gain today. Gold & Gold Miners extended the upside momentum.
