Jan 7, 2026 Today the markets opened on a positive note, with SPY pushing higher early in the session and printing another all-time high. The Magnificent 7 fund bounced off the red line, while TLT bonds also moved higher, forming a potential W pattern on the 60-minute chart.
The greed index SVXY showed signs of weakening, while the fear index gained some strength, suggesting both could be setting up for a mean reversion toward the fair value Banana Line. Silver saw a pullback during the session, and the day ultimately ended with a mild overall retracement.
