Markets were higher today as the S&P 500, NASDAQ, and Small Cap Indices made New Highs on lower Volume. So far the Break Outs have not decisively pushed up thru the January Highs. Very few individual stocks are making New Highs.
The DOW Transport Index made new Highs, but the DOW Industrials have not (DOW Theory).
The Leaders are back up in the Red Zones (probably too late to Buy for the Short Term).
Please be patient and WAIT for the Leaders and Indices to return to their Green Zones for Money Wave Buy Signals.
Crude Oil was up today at $68.60.
The Following Investments will probably have a Money Wave Buy Signal soon.
(Slow Stochastic Closing > 20) on today’s Close.
BUYS TODAY NONE TODAY
Money Wave Buys soon for:
KDP KEURIG DR. PEPPER Buy when KDP Closes above the Pink Line.
Please be patient and wait for Money Wave Buy Signals. We will email you when they are ready. Click on Watch List.
Emotions are very high now, so please do not Buy unless you are VERY NIMBLE. The Leaders are still Way Above the Green Lines (all Investments eventually return to their Green Lines).
EXIT VLO VALERO ENERGY on the Close today, or have a tight Sell Stop Loss below it.
Please Check PORTFOLIO (Open Positions) and adjust your Sell Stops.
Click for CLOSED POSITIONS.
Many like to Buy the day before, near the Close, if the Money Wave is going to create a Buy Signal (Closing > 20).
Don’t Buy if the Investment has already popped up too much. Money Wave Buys are usually good for a 3-6 % move in a few days. We will “Not Log” trades if the Reward/Risk is not at least 2:1.
HAVE A NICE WEEKEND!
It is hard to predict for the market direction as you mentioned. In this moment, I pull all cash from the market and wait the market fall. However If the market will not fall, when is good timing to cash in?
First decide if you are a Short Term, Medium or Longer Term Investor… The you can follow the Rules here.
When Markets get Way Above the Green Line (some stocks are 50-100% Above their Green Lines) human Emotions have taken over (Greed).
Many look for “Double Tops” or “M” patterns to determine a TOP of an Investment… There is no easy answer.
