4/05/2026 Markets were sharply higher for the week, snapping a five-week losing streak. Despite a holiday-shortened week (closed for Good Friday), major indices posted gains of 3% to 4%, primarily driven by diplomatic signals regarding the Strait of Hormuz and a robust March jobs report.
The Indices might have to go down once more, after last week’s bounce up. But longer term for the next month or so, many Stocks over-sold on the Weekly charts for Buy Signals soon. FEAR was High, and that is when we like to Buy.
Dumb Money bought on Greed and Great News at the Stock Market Top in January. Now they have been Selling on FEAR & Bad News to Smart Money. The major Stocks Indices have pulled back down to the Green Lines (like they always do). The S&P 500 CHART is back down into the Green Zone, which historically creates maybe a “Once a Year” Buying Opportunity.
We Buy the strongest Leaders that make new highs, on pull-backs. So follow the Green Line System and you should continue to win more than you lose. SEE WATCH LIST

For the week the Dow was up 3.03%, the S&P 500 was up 3.36% and the NASDAQ 100 was up 3.98%. Try to own the stronger Funds here.
The Inflation Index (CRB) was up 3.36 % this week and is Above the Green Line, indicating Economic Expansion.
Bonds were up 1.75% for the week, and are Above the Green Line, indicating Economic Contraction.
The US DOLLAR was up 0.07% for the week.
Crude Oil was up 11.94% for the week at $111.54 and GOLD was up 4.04% at $4677.28.
