08/04/2019: Markets were down for the week, after the FED cut Interest Rates 1/4 point on July 31. Then Smart Money took profits on the “Good News” from the FED.
Most of the major Indices and Leaders were very over-bought, but have now pulled back down to the Green Zones for Money Wave Buys soon. The Watch List has grown to 12 Positions, so expect a Market bounce soon for the Leaders.
For the week the Dow was down 2.59%, the S&P 500 was down 3.11%, and the Nasdaq 100 was down 4.07%. The Long Term Trend on the Stock Markets is UP.
The Inflation Index (CRB) was down 2.15% and is Below the Green Line, indicating Economic Weakness.
Bonds were up 4.04% for the week to a New High and are Way Above the Green Line, indicating Economic Weakness.
The US DOLLAR was up 0.15% to a New High, but it could be having a huge Double Top from 3 years ago.
Crude Oil was down 0.96% for the week at $55.66, and GOLD was up 2.69% to a New High at $1457.50.
