Sep 8, 2026 Today the Markets opened with slow and weak momentum as large caps like SPY moved slightly lower and remained subdued throughout the session. Overall market participation was limited, with volume lacking the strength needed to support a meaningful directional move. Meanwhile, Semiconductor Stocks and the SMH Fund steadily pushed higher, showing relative strength despite the broader market weakness.
The Greed Index, SVXY, moved lower and came down to hold around the daily Pink Line, creating a potential support area as sentiment cools. We continued to hold $U as our TPOW from the previous week, as it remains technically strong and could potentially see a pop higher soon. The day closed with a Swing Buy taken in $MRVI, as we continue to monitor the market for stronger momentum and follow-through.
