Jul 16, 2026 Today the Markets opened lower as the Semi / AI Stocks got trashed from massive profit taking and Margin Calls. We are not Selling the Techs Stocks down here on this Emotional FEAR Flush. Soon they should be ready for a nice bounce back up,
The large caps like SPY traded down only slightly as the Money has mainly left the over-bought Tech Stocks. Small caps through IWM remained relatively weak, although the MAGS 7 fund held firmly within the previous day’s range and continued to show resilience.
Meanwhile, the XBI biotech ETF moved lower, reflecting weakness across parts of the growth sector. The day ended with no new swing buys taken, as markets lacked the strength and volatility needed for any standout directional move.
