Aug 27, 2026 Today the Markets opened on a stronger note as SPY moved higher and remained bullish throughout the session, showing improved momentum as the recent downside correction appeared to ease. SPY is now approaching a potential M pattern and retest of the highs, which could set up a mean reversion back toward fair value at the Banana Line if confirmed.
Small caps through IWM remained quiet near the bananas line, while Gold Miners GDX is also approaching a potential M pattern before a possible retracement toward fair value the bananas line which is trading below. NVDA posted fresh 60-minute higher highs as one of the few tech leaders showing strength, while broader technology remained weak. The day ended with a swing buy taken in $AXTI.
