Aug 24, 2026 Today the Markets opened with a slower and slightly weaker tone as SPY continued following its 60-minute corrective downtrend, while Small Caps IWM remained near the 60-minute Banana Line. Gold through GDX held its strength and moved slightly higher, while Bitcoin funds such as IBIT and BITO also saw a solid push to the upside with good Volume.
Meanwhile, SMH declined as Semiconductor and AI stocks remained broadly weaker throughout the session. We took this week’s TPOW position in $DELL, while SPY remains in a normal 60-minute corrective wave down that could eventually break higher as the next impulse resumes and retests the highs. The day ended with no new Swing Buys taken.
